Rack, Bin and Location Labels
Printed location labels identify racks, shelves and bin locations so stock is put away and picked from the right place. Barcode location labels let your team scan locations instead of reading and keying them. Labels are made in custom sizes to fit your rack beams, shelving and bins. Tell us how your locations are numbered, where the labels will go and whether they'll be read by people, scanners or both.
Warehouse Label Materials and Color-Coding
Polyester warehouse labels hold up to handling and long-term use. Retro-reflective labels are available for rack and location identification. Color-coded labels separate zones, aisles or levels at a glance. Other materials are available depending on your environment, including freezer/cold-temperature adhesive options. Matching the material and adhesive to the surface matters: a location label that peels or won't scan creates picking errors and rework.
Floor, Tote and Container Labels
Floor labels take foot traffic and forklifts, so they need a tougher construction than a shelf label. Reusable totes, bins and containers get handled, stacked and sometimes washed, and that changes which label will last. Some jobs call for a permanent label that stays put; others need a removable label so totes can be relabeled when their contents change. Cold-Storage and Freezer Labels
Labels in coolers and freezers need an adhesive made for the cold. A standard label can lift or fall off when it's applied to a cold or frosty surface. Warehouse labels are available on rolls, sheets or fanfold, printed or blank for printing in-house. Wax ribbons are commonly used with paper labels for general warehouse barcode printing, and resin ribbons with synthetic labels for more demanding conditions.
