What Warehouse Rack Labels Are Used For
Printed location labels identify racks, shelves and bin locations so stock is put away and picked from the right place. Common uses include pallet-rack beam labels, multi-level location labels, color-coded zone or aisle markers, and barcode location labels tied to your inventory process.

Materials and Scanning Options
Polyester warehouse rack labels hold up to handling and long-term use on beams and uprights. Retro-reflective labels are available when long-range or low-light scanning matters for rack and location identification. Color-coded labels separate zones, aisles or levels at a glance.
Matching the material and adhesive to the surface matters. A location label that peels or will not scan creates picking errors and rework. Other materials and freezer or cold-temperature adhesive options are available depending on your environment.
Warehouse rack labels can be supplied printed or blank for printing in-house. Wax ribbons are commonly used with paper labels for general warehouse barcode printing. Resin ribbons are commonly paired with synthetic labels for more demanding conditions. SPE Labels can help identify ribbons for Zebra, SATO, Intermec, Datamax, Eltron and Printronix printers.
